Add horisontal lines and multiple ‘columns’

Hi,

I am new to css and idd like to do some things in my theme.

– Add some horizontal lines
– create multiple columns

an example of this is shown here

The Save & Share and Related posts are in 2 columns and have a horizontal line above and below and a vertical line in between.
How can I do something similar ?
