Add From Server not working with WordPress 3.5+? (7 posts)

While Add From Server version 3.2.0.2 worked fine for me with WordPress 3.4.2, it doesn't appear where it should with WordPress versions 3.5 or 3.5.1 (just released).

Try reinstalling the plugin? Mine is actually working better now with 3.5.1 than it was with 3.5.

You know, I think I forgot to activate the plugin. Sorry about that!

I deactivated, deleted, reinstalled and reactivated and I'm having the same problem. A tiny window pops up when I click a document to bring in from server saying file not found. Could it be a google chrome thing?

Nope - happened in firefox and IE too...

Got around it by adding file from server in the media tab. I have been adding audio each week to the site I manage, sending it ftp, then bringing it to the media library while in the post to which I'm adding the audio. This time I had to go to the media tab first, bring it in, then insert it into the post. Wonder why I can't bring it in from the post it will be attached to anymore...?

Oh, I figured out what tripped me up.

Here was my workflow to post to a webcomic:
I was using "Set featured image" and selecting "Add from Server" there. It's not in there under WordPress 3.5+.

It is available while editing a post, under "Add Media," just under the title. It's also under "Media," but that takes you out of post editing.

@jaimesews - start your own thread, sounds like you have a different issue going on.
