Hi. Is it possible to put a custom time & date stamps on the images you upload through the Add From Server plug-in?

I have some images outside the new folder structure (in the root of “uploads”). I would like them to be in the right folder, which would be: “uploads/2006/01” and not be uploaded to the current date & time.

    Anyone?

I’ll be adding some options to the next release of the plugin.

But in the meantime, If the file exists within the uploads folder allready, it is NOT moved (So you dont need to update old links)

If you import a file which is NOT in the uploads folder, it will be put in the uploads folder of the correct year. If you import afile uploaded on November 2007, it’ll be sorted into /uploads/2007/11/

My only solution for you is to manually move them into the 2006/01 folder, and then run the import on them, that way you’ll retain the 2006/01 folder location.

Is it possible NOT to have them categorized in date/year folders?

    Apologies for the late reply.

It follows your installs options, You can turn off Date/year folders in the wordpress settings: Settings -> “Miscellaneous” -> “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders”
