• Could someone please explain how to add a featured image from a post to my home page like it is shown in this link?

I would like to have 3 even photos under the main image. I think Im on the right track but they just wont appear in the main page. Do you do it from a featured imagine from a post. If that is true how does the post know to put it on the main page? I cant find any option to send a post to a page.

here is the link to my page.

    Hi jhp,
This is what I had selected on mine to do the 3 pics underneath.

In ‘customize your page’. goto ‘static front page’ and select ‘your latest posts’

In theme options ‘general tab’ I have all page, post and blog pages settings of ‘full posts to display’ set to 0. (not sure what that does though exactly)

Again in theme options under ‘layout’ I had the very far right them selected of ‘full width’ then below that selected columns at 3.

Then goto add new ‘POST’… not page!… after all that is setup and go down the very bottom right of that page and set featured image, do some writing in the post box and update. then you should see it come up on the main page.

This took me AGES to work out after getting bit and pieces from the forums. I hope it helps you. Let me know if you need any more help with it.
    🙂

Goto the theme/options and choose the blog posts instead a static page on your blog home page.
