I need to add some links to the menu bar at http://www.rocketllama.com/blog-it/ so that they'll appear on the same line as Blog-It Llama! and Symphony Preview. So far, whatever I type into the menu.php file creates an extra line either above or below those page links.

You'll need to replicate the markup that is being used for the existing menu links - ie:

    <li><a href="http://www.some_domain/some_page">Foobar</a></li>

Nope. Thanks, but that doesn't put it in the same line.

No matter where I put that code in menu.php, it will create a new line with the external link either above or below the page links. For our purposes in coordinating multiple sites, it would be best if the external link could appear on the same line. Also, it just looks a lot cleaner to have a single line of links. Two separate lines of links would be two short, stubby sets, neither of which would go far across the page.

Maybe the "Page Links To"-plugin is what you are looking for.
