    I want to add a custom border around my title tags in posts like the ones found here on listverse:

    I'm using a basic theme found here:

    http://tendig.com/

    Do I need to do graphics then upload it?

    Thanks,

    There is no graphic

    Make a child theme and then in the CSS file, use,

    .post .post_title {
     border-top: 1px solid #C5DDD8;
    }

    .post_title h2{
     margin-top: 3px;
     border-top: 1px solid #C5DDD8;
    }

    Also, it is on the h2 and h3 tags as well in the post.

    On http://www.listverse.com, go to a post and you will see each numbered section has borders. Got you on the child theme. Thanks!

    Okay but those numbers aren't <h3> elements, I would first add these numbers to your theme before styling the border.
