[resolved] Add content/meta tab between Title and Content in WP Editor (6 posts)

    I would like to some meta tabs or suggestions for user editing the post.
    The best place to add that content will be between Title and Content Editor.
    Is their any action or filter to achieve this..

    I've never seen this done before, but you may want to try with those two:
    - Piklist: http://piklist.com/
    - jQuery

    well piklist proposes to remove the default editor, add metaboxes or content and then add the custom editor(not default editor).
    Not a bad approach but using a filter will be more help full than this.

    And regarding jquery or javascript - it is better to do it in the server side rather than relaying on client side.

    You're looking for 'edit_form_after_title'. This is an action, just directly output your HTML from your callback. It will appear just before this tag enclosing the editor: <div id="postdivrich" class="postarea edit-form-section">

    @bcworkz thank you very much...... I searched for days to get this done, hoping at-least a filter will be there but found an action I am very thankfull to you..:):):):)
