    Hello,
This is my first post because i never used WordPress for a full site. I have always programmed my own websites with PHP/MySQL. So this time around i am going to make my website with WordPress and not try to reinvent the wheel. I have the updated version of WordPress.

So, I have been searching Google and WP plugins in my WP installation and I found one plugin that worked with /home but all my links went to /home and none of my other links worked so i deleted that plugin.

Does anyone know how to add http://www.domain.com/home to show the home page http://www.domain.com/

That is the only page i cannot edit the permalink. I can only view it.

Does anyone know how to do this? I know it can be done in .htaccess but i am horrible at .htaccess programming. I always mess something up! But if there is an easier way please let me know. A plugin or in WordPress settings?

I set the static home page under "Settings-> reading" but i cannot find the setting to make my home page also show up as http://www.domain.com/home it gives me an error page "Not Found".

One more issue i am having is I downloaded the "slides" plugin and it is left aligned on my site so are the bullets underneath the slider. I have to look through the settings a little deeper to see if i can fix this. But if anyone knows how to fix the slides plugin to center on the page, especially the bullets underneath the slider. The plugin is "Slides By Pritesh Gupta".

If you need a link to my site please let me know. I will PM it to you because it is my new updated design which is not finished to be online.

Thank You in advance for anyone who can help me out. I really appreciate it.

    Thanks Again,
    - Dan

Sorry, You can delete this thread. I was not intentionally bumping the thread. I was simply asking if anyone could help me and point me into the right direction. That is disrespectful to add that comment to my thread. I am a programmer I will figure it out myself.

If i was bumping sorry but when I bump a thread I would of said "*BUMP*"

You can delete the thread now. Thank You for all your help! Now i know not to reply to my own thread when no one else did. I have been in many forums and i never was disrespected like that in my life.
