I need my users to put a tick in a checkbox before being able to login, I have added the box to my login form but am unsure how to make it so that ticking it is mandatory. Any tips?

It would require significant editing of 1 or more core WP files - something I wouldn't recommend. What is the checkbox needed for? Have you looked to see if there's a plugin available that could do the job instead?
