Add Category button not working In Firefox (3 posts)

    Is it just me or has the ability to add new categories been completely lost in firefox?
    I can do it in Opera fine, but not firefox and I've rebooted and done all that wonderful stuff
    the button is there but when I click on it nothing happens..

    I am using Firefox 3.03 in Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron

    thats a smidge more than just using FF.

    I can tell you that I use FF3 and the buttons, including the one you mention work just fine for me.

    The assumption that is one thing works in one borwser but not in another, its the browsers fault. Since FF3 works for me, and your FF3 doesnt work for you, well its the browser and the architecture. :)

    Okay, I can help out a little here. It's nothing to do with Ubuntu/Linux, but appears to be more related to the installation or configuration of Firefox 3 under Ubuntu. I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex & have the same problem...

    Now, when I use Opera instead, everything works like a charm. And snappy too I must say!

    If I find a solution to this one, I'll post it up for you all... maybe someone else has, but I haven't found it yet.
