Add an Upload Image to my theme options

    I am making a theme options page, and for ease-of-use I would like to add an “Upload Image” button that opens the Add Media panel and then inserts the url of the newly uploaded image into a hidden field or something. I have seen it done, so I know it’s possible, but a Google search yielded no usable results.

    There are some JQuery scripts, but the upload has to assign the image to a post so it is not that tidy!

    I have used this topic to do what you are after, but I do not have the code to hand!

    There are loads of replies with code snippets!
