   On some of my posts, I want to vertically align all of my images, in a column on one or the other side of the post.
   On other posts, I want to have them grouped in three or four rows across the bottom.

   can anyone help me add the same alignment options to the gallery as there are on the individual images?

   heh, easy as it turned out. I simply added my alignment CSS to the class "gallery-columns-1"

   D-oh!
