   I want a vertical line or border perhaps to separate my posts from my sidebar. I'm sure this is an easy fix for most. I am using the Mystique theme, and am fairly new to all this so if anyone has an basic solution that would be GREATLY appreciated

   There are thousands of WordPress themes - which means that many people won't be familiar with your particular theme. So a link to your site where people can see the theme might result in more responses.

   If you have a wordpress.com site, you need to ask your questions on http://en.forums.wordpress.com/. This forum is for self-hosted WordPress sites.
