Add a Second Sidebar to my current Theme? (11 posts)

Is there any simple way to add a second sidebar to my current theme?

Website is eShopGamers.com and I'm using the Quik theme.

I'd like to have the second sidebar on the right-side of the current sidebar. Is that possible?

Your current sidebar is 1/3 of your site. Adding another one will make the site three equal columns. Is that what you want?

Yes, just another sidebar the exact same size as the current one, but to the right of it.

If that's not possible, then to the left of the main posts would be fine.

That would widen your page and it won't display correctly on many monitors.

Oh, I see. What about themes that already have 2 sidebars on each side, like on poncie.com?

poncie.com has much narrower siderbars, less padding, and the main wrapper is 25px wider.

Mmm I see. Well thanks! I guess I'll have to find a theme with 2 sidebars and use that one.

Do you know of any themes like look similar to my current one that have 2 sidebars?

Sorry I don't. But search the themes on WordPress and i'm sure you'll find many like that.
