I'm trying to add a gallery metabox that allows to easily and aesthetically do what already does the media uploader lol.
there is a plugin by bill hericksson that does just that http://www.billerickson.net/gallery-metabox/ BUT it lacks AJAX help to give an interactive feedback and most importantly it doesn't shows up in the "add new post" page", only shows up after you save the post in the edit page.
this is because he doesn't know how to retrieve the general post ID of a new post from the core wp code. do you know what is it? or do you know another way to add this metabox on a new post?
