Add a custom url to the twitter/facebook share buttons

    Hello. I see in the change log that in the 2.3 version an option to specify the URL that is submitted by Facebook and Twitter buttons was added but I haven’t found how to do so. I need to change it on the main form, not the widget. I’ve found other forum posts that offer some suggestions for how to edit the code, but none have worked for me so far. It seams that the code has since changed and the suggestions no longer apply. Thanks you.

    I need this facility too. But if you read the documentation accompanying release 2.3 it does say the facility has only been added to the widget. I can see why, as a widget may appear on any old page. But I have a need to effect this for the shortcode, but it’s unavailable. Will try to hack.
