We have a site up and running (although still lacking some content) footyviews but I have been asked to add another column or sidebar to it so more content can be included.
We're quite keen to keep the theme we are currently using, is it possible to increase the number of columns or sidebars without changing the entire theme?
Any help would be much appreciated.

may be a place to start
just google add sidebar to wordpress theme, there are many tutorials....
you are gonna have to do some custom tweaking depending on your theme as they are all different....getting the sidebar to exist is one thing, tweaking your css is another
