grafgoHere is my new blog. I installed WP in English but my blog is in French. It's the way we often do it here in Quebec.
On the Net I found 2 sets of fr_FR .po and .mo for twenty ten theme, so I can have every code and automatic stuff translated in French.
The first set corrected some sentences only, and in Proedit everything seem fine but the end result was far from perfect. It didn't seem to change much but the bottom of the reply zone. (they are the fr_FR3.po and .mo in the list)
Then I found another kit of po and mo (sounds like an old couple) and I uploaded them (in the list: they are the fr_FR.po and .mo). This one was better but still the bottom of the page is still in English... The: leave a reply/comments section.
the rest of the misses were acceptable for now, like the calendar months is English in the blog history field, etc...
The first problem is why can't fr_FR.Po be opened in poedit? It says cannot convert unicode.
Second I like the french bottom part of fr_FR3.po but the rest of fr_FR.po Can I add the good part of the first to add to the other?
Yes I can open fr_FR3.po in poedit. So maybe make the changes on this one from the fr_FR.po file?
I am new to WP. Just installed the last English version last week, so I guess it is the latest.
For the theme twenty ten:
I put the 2 latest French versions of .po and .mo here
