I know for a fact that the plugin is currently being rewritten and an update is on the way.
Unfortunately I don’t have an ETA on this, but hopefully it will be soon enough!

Thanks for the update. Things are now working fine with Firefox, Safari and IE. I am still having the problem with Chrome. The version of Chrome that I have is Version 27.0.1453.110 m which is the most current version.

I just tested it on my local installation and I don’t have any issues with Chrome or Chromium, both latest versions!
I just updated to WordPress 3.5.2 and also updated to Chrome version 27.0.1453.116 m. Between the two upgrades, everything now works.
