   Below is the error i get whilst trying to validate the gallery 2 pluggin

   ''Gallery2 URL Rewrite Rules Updated? Active But Config Failed with error: 15 - Cannot write to the .htaccess file''

   What should i do?

   I've tried changing the .htaccess file to 644 and 666 but it doesn't seem to help.

   What else should I try ?

   ------------------------------------

   On a side note I haven't yet installed Imageblock or Image frame pluggins as I can't find where to download them from?

   But one thing at a time I guess my first worry is to get WPG2 validated.

   Help please! :)

   Found that the pluggins are for gallery2 rather than WP and I have them installed, I still have the same problem in wordpress tho.

   I can't validate due to a Error 15 Which reads:

   "Cannot write to the .htaccess file"

   I've tried changing it to both 644 and 666 and still I can't validate.

   :(

   Problem solved - anyone else gets this problem the solution is to change both .htaccess the wordpress one and the gallery2 one to 666.

   I had only been changing the WP, duh!
