Activation Link for JetPack sends me to the front-end home page.

    I have a self-hosted BuddyPress multisite (latest installation). All the “subsites” are activating JetPack just fine, but the main site is not activating. When I attempt to “Connect to WordPress.com” it stalls for a second and then forwards to the front-end of the page. I’m not using the “W3 Total Cache” plugin, or any other cache plugin.

    I hope someone can help.
