Activation Error on AutoChimp 2.15

    I haven’t verified whether or not my hosting company (HostGator) is using PHP 5.3.

    That might be the reason I’m unable to activate AutoChimp.

    I get this error message when I try to activate it:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home1/asharp/public_html/catland.org/wp-content/plugins/autochimp/autochimp.php on line 852

    It installs just fine, and appears in my list of installed plugins.

    Downloaded AutoChimp 2.15 same day as installation and attempt to activate. (November 29, 2013)
