Activating theme slider removes posts from front page

Hi there,

Now that I’ve finally got the slider on my site up an running, I have another problem. The posts no longer display on the home page:

Instead, I get the text “Apologies, but no entries were found” just beneath the now-functioning slider. I’ve tried re-activating my plugins, to no avail.

Any ideas?
