   Hello,

   I want to activate a plugin.

   According to the Docs, the admin-panel should have, I quote,

   "Just below the top shaded area are two hanging tabs, Screen Options and contextual Help, that can be clicked to expand them."

   In my case do not I see both tabs. What could be the problem??

   Working with WP version 2.6 on a Mac G4 under Tiger (Mac OS 10.4.11)

   log in
   in left sidebar of dashboard click on
   Plugins - then "add new"

   Unfortunately there is no left sidebar, and therefor also no "Plugins" button.

   g0erwt, I have the same problem as you.
   I am on 2.6.5 and I do not have a left sidebar dashboard and I do not have an add new button. Does anyone know how else we can install Plugins?
