Activating floating social media creates large space after footer

    Yes understood the issue,

    According to http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_footer

    Always have wp_footer() just before the closing </body>
    tag of your theme, or you will break many plugins, which
    generally use this hook to reference JavaScript files.

    In your case, in your themes footer.php the wp_footer is not just before closing body, its inside some div, and thats what causing the issue.

    Try moving the wp_footer to just before the closing body, if you have trouble or confusion in doing.. then send wordpress login to info at acurax com and we will do it for you.
