Activate the Plugin? What Plugin?

I need help 🙂

First off I am a newbie, so well :), here goes:

I’m Stuck on step 3 of the installation process: Activate the plugin at the plugin administration page.

I have no idea where to activate a plug in, I don’t recall installing/uploading any such item. I did create the two directories, but they are just empty directories (no plug-ins).

Seems like I missed something during the installation?

Can someone Please tell me specifically, which files from the google-sitemap-generator folder, do i bring into the directories: sitemap.xml.gz and And sitemap.xml
