[resolved] Achieving Subdomains with Membership? (3 posts)

I'm looking to set up only for paid members. When they pay I want to create a subdomain (ie. membername.wordpressinstall.com) where they will log in.

Each subdomain will only have two members, the Admin and the User, additionally if they visit the main site and log in, it will redirect them to their subdomain.

You won't be able to access any content on the subdomains without paid login credentials.

I was thinking of trying to do this with a multisite install, and possibly a paid membership plugin, but wasn't sure if any combination of those things would give me all the functions I'm looking for.

Could anyone make some recommendations for achieving this?

    Yes. Use multisite with subdomains.

Using Paid Memberships Pro and the PMPro-Network plugin will allow you accept payment for setting up a new site on multisite.

    You are my hero!

Thanks so much. I knew I couldn't have been the first person with this idea.

One quick followup: will PMPro-Network allow users to log in on the main site and be redirected to their subdomain?

Again, I really appreciate your help, this is exactly what I needed.
