Accurate Widget Placement in a custom theme (facebook box) (8 posts)

Hello all, my website - capoeiravibe.com

was made by a designer who used Woo themes - simplicity. I am now trying to add a facebook like box below the rest of the Social Media buttons (widgetised) on the left hand side of my page.

What happens, however, is that the facebook like box goes to the right of the other social media buttons if i try to place it below the widget and to the left if i try to place it above the buttons.

My coding knowledge is limited but i am willing to have a go if directed to the right line of code in the right file.

Any help is much appreciated as i think that the lack of this feature is really stunting the growth of the website.

    Cheers

I'm sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme's vendors.

    Hey thanks,

As i didnt buy implement the template i dont have access to the support.

This must be a general thing to implement though?

If this was a generic/free theme what should I look for?

I'm trying to avoid having to pay for something that is simple and should have been implemented at the start.

Is there anyone else that has any advice??

    Cheers

We do not support commercial themes here as you paid for support when you bought the theme. It is not our place to keep theme vendors in business or deprive them of any income that they may derive from support services.

OK i genuinely do have the same issue with another site of mine

    http://www.kobestarr.com

this uses the free theme Platform 1.4.2 from page lines.

I will be changing this site to include my concert photography and in the same way would like to know how to code the position of widgets (just iframes) into the template into specific places in the template.

Are you able to give me some guidance, direct me to a place, resource, friendly face that would help me to help me on my way to sorting this out?

Thanks in advance everyone on the wordpress forum!
