That just means that your site is allowing users to register, and users are registering. There’s a good chance that these are SPAM accounts (email addresses like that just look like SPAM), but as they are subscribers they can’t do much more then comment on your blog.
To stop people from registering, go into your admin section, and udner the ‘Settings’ => ‘Generl’ menu page there’s an item for ‘Membership’. That lets you control allowing users to register or now.
Thanks for your reply.
The site has been live for 8 months and while I do get my share of spam, and I have “Subscribe To The Site” registration, this is the first time I have found “Users” appearing in the administrative backend!
As the admin, I thought that I am the only one that can set “User” perms such as subscriber, contributor, editor, so I can’t see how that is suddenly happening!!??
And further more those names and emails do not appear in the “Subscribe to Site” registry so something is not right on here!
If you allow users to register, they are set up automatically as ‘Subscribers’. That means that they don’t have any permissions to do anything like posting or viewing anything in your back end.
Now, I have been wrong on this beofre, but seein gas how they are set only as subscribes, there’s a very good chance that they won’t appear in a registry of users – but that depends on how the registry works. Do you use a plugin for registrations, or the standard WordPress forms? If it’s the WP forms then I haven’t seen a registry anywhere so i can’t help. If you are using a plugin, then I’d bet that those users are registering thorugh the standard WP system, an dnot the pluign page/code and that’s why they won’t be on the registry that you can see.
It is the Subscription widget found with the Jetpack.
The thing is I have over 50 Followers, none of which appear in the administrative back-end as a User. The subscribers to the site are listed in my email registry and have valid names and email addresses and they can do is get new post notifications and comment on posts.
The Email list can be found in the Jetpack > Site Stats > Subscriptions >Followers > Blog

I’m having the same problem from the same pl address.
I can only assume that I’m extremely popular in Poland or they are there to hack the site.
Can I simply delete them as registered users?
