    Hi guys,

Was setting up a new site, got it all uploaded, and was playing around with general settings. I stupidly entered the name of my blog into the WordPress URL setting, and now I can’t access the wordpress options again. Is there some way I can change it back by editing any files on my ftp?

To explain, lets say I have the site jarrodshomepage.com and the blog was installed to jarrodshomepage.com/blog/

I accidentally put the name of blog, e.g “My Blog” as the URL directory name, so now it keeps forwarding to jarrodshomepage.com/myblog and spits out a 404 page.

I cant access the wordpress dashboard because it keeps looking for it under /myblog instead of the actual location. Is there a file where I can simply change this value to fix it, without going through the dashboard? Thank you very much!

    Thanks Varunms!

Just before reading your reply, I was also able to just rename the folder on my FTP from “blog” to “myblog” and everything matched up well. This seems like a quick and dirty fix, if I leave this, will it cause any problems?
