   I have wordpress installed under http://www.website.com/blog

   However on my home page at http://www.website.com/index.php I would like to now be able to display the last 5 wordpress posts, but as wordpress is installed on a different directory can / how could this be done?

   not sure if that is quite what I need, I still want my blog content (main wordpress index file with news list) to be at http://www.website.com/blog but I just want to be able to list some post excerpts in my main homepage, is this possible?

   Looks good, but I am having some trouble accessing my rss feed.
   I am getting:
   Warning: include_once(ABSPATHWPINC/rss.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/site/public_html/test.php on line 127
