   Is there a way where you can access a theme that is not the current theme?

   I'm in the process of redesigning my site and the redesign is a new custom theme. I want to be able to test the theme before I make it active. Is this possible?

   Install the theme-switcher plugin and activate it.
   this plugin is available at http://dev.wp-plugins.org/wiki/PluginDirectory

   then you go to http://davidyeiser.com/?wptheme=yournewthemename

   thats it. then only you will be seeing the site in this theme, while all others view the site, with the currently active theme.

   I do this all the time. hope that helps.

   Excellent, this works. Although I had to use http://davidyeiser.com/index.php?wptheme=yournewthemename to get it to work. Thanks very much!
