I have been trying to access the administrator site in order to post a BLOG. I have not been able to access the site in 2 days. What is the issue and how do I resolve it?

You haven't said why you can't access the site. Or even what site you;re referring to...

I have not been able to access my site for 2 days.

The message I receive is that the website is under maintenance or website has a programming error.

I get the same error after logging in.

    -Website is under maintenance
    -Website has a programming error

Simply put, I have tried every way to access the admin site and cannot get in.

    Try:
    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme's folder inside wp-content/themes and adding "-old" to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Here is a new issue.

The Web Server may be down, too busy or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

[No bumping. If it's that urgent, consider hiring someone.]

Try contacting your hosts. They may be experiencing problems at their end.

My "host" - what does that mean? My internet provider .... Comcast?

I have tried to access the site admin from 3 computers utilizing 2 different internet providers.

The company you are paying to host your web site.

No. wordpress.org does not host any sites. What is the address of your site?

Not necessarily. I can access the front end of your site just fine but you need to try:

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme's folder inside wp-content/themes and adding "-old" to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    - re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

None of which requires you to login to your admin area. You will need to use FTP or use whatever file management application Bluehost provides.

Your direction is far to technical for me. I have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about. I need someone to hand hold me through the steps you outlined above. Who can I talk to at WordPress.

WordPress is free software and this free, volunteer-staffed forum is the only support resource available via wordpress.org. If you cannot manage this yourself, perhaps you need to consider hiring someone to carry out the work for you.

I am sorry but there is nothing else we can do to help you here. You need to learn how to access your hosting account management panel and how to use FTP if you want to run a web site. Neither of these have anything directly to do with WordPress.

Try contacting your hosts for assistance.
