   For the past 3 days I have not been able to access the site http://www.wordpress.com to update my blog. I can however access my blog itself - I can also access http://www.wordpress.org. I can only access http://www.wordpress.com through a proxy - slow and incomplete. Why? I am in Shanghai China....

   The Great firewall of China? maybe it is your governments fault, trying their best to filter and block any contents that they deemed a threat to China's 'harmony'

   How is your access now? I am traveling to Beijing this summer and am curious if I will be able to access wordpress to post to a blog.
