• I cannot get to my website and my username does not exist now. I get a Forbidden 404 error. What direction do I go? Eek.

  • There are an infinite number of possibilities for this. Make sure your DNS is good, and that your site is installed in the correct location. Deactivate plugins and, if all that doesn’t help, contact your host and see if they can give you any more suggestions on what to look into.

Thank you for your response. My bigger issue is that my wordpress login for my website doesn’t work either. When I type my domain name/wp-admin I get the same error. I tried to login directly to wordpress using my admin login and it doesn’t exist. Is there another way for me to get to site content? How do I figure out what server my site is located? Is there a backdoor?

Your site consists of the associated files and the database as well. Contact your host to help you find the files if you don’t know where they are.

    See: Deactivating plugins
    And: Changing WP Theme
