   Hi guys,
   I'm a total newbie on this one.
   Can't even pass the installation stage.
   I uploaded all the files into my root folder.
   What's next?
   Where do I get the username and password?
   Please please help me.
   I know it sounds dumb, but I have totally no idea.
   I just think it's cool to have your own blog page on your site.
   Please help!

   Have you followed the README included in the files you downloaded ?

   Kuldi,
   Does your web server have MySQL and PHP installed? If you aren't sure, you should contact your host and ask. WordPress needs both of these to run. Some web hosts will create the necessary database and user for you, while with others, you will have to create it yourself.
   First step, though, is to contact support at whomever you host with, and give them a link to here: http://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
   They will then inform you if your hosting package includes those things and can help you from there.

   Have you tried Blogger? ;)
   Seriously, though, if you can't even work out how to run the install script you are likely to encounter major problems further down the line. WordPress is great, but it isn't for everyone.
