We tried this ourselves. Using the latest WP, Wp-PageNavi and BD, we were unable to reproduce any sort of odd behavior on it. That means the remaining possibilities:
– It’s a conflict with those plugins + your theme
– It’s an older version of WP-PageNavi with some bug in it
– It’s something environmental that we won’t see except on your site

My site is in production, mounted with cache and I can not afford to change it for testing.
