Hey guys I've recently launched my website and I've been trying to make it appear on search engines, but to no avail.

Actually, if I write the actual URL on google, it comes up, but the description is far from satisfactory. It still has the:

"Just another WordPress blog" Hello world! February 17th, 2009. Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it,"

for the description. I've already deleted that post and I've edited the things given in the "all-in-one-SEO" plug-in and obviously the regular settings of wordpress CMS.

This is what I think that can be problematic:

-In my main hosting, I have two folders for two domains, and made them direct to that domain. (so it's not [something].com/koholic)

-I've used a very limited version of WordPress given by the hosting company, which I promptly deleted. (it says it's deleted, but maybe part of it remains?)

-isn't validated by W3 (not too many errors and warnings)

    -Lack of content?

-Or is it because I just made this two days ago, and edited the metatags (with allinoneSEO) just yesterday?

    Help me out guys!

These are the two most likely reasons.

It can take up to months for descriptions of previously indexed pages to update in Google. The newer the site and the less content, the longer it takes. Adding more posts should help nudge Google into visiting/updating more frequently.
