I'm a fresh user of WP 2.1 and i really like it. Currently, i'm working about a newspaper based on WP with some journalist.
We have look at the old post about hemes, and i was very amazazing about the "cougar newspaper design" ( related link : http://wordpress.org/support/topic/91801?replies=28 ).

I just wanna know how is it possible to do that ( CSS/Plugin ?... ) Whats the way to customize your theme ? Maybe i'm going wrong and there is already a todo/tutorial to have an approachain result.
