   ...an "ABOUT" page tab actually include info about ME? The tab that I have on my theme ALWAYS goes to a "404" page...

   ...I apologize up front for the inane quality of my ?, but that's the way that it is.

   Secondly, is it possible to create additional tabs as desired, or is that a function of the theme that one is using?

   #1: You need to enable "pretty permalinks" to not get the 404 page. more info on that here.

   #2: Edit the Header template.
