If I have 10 images in a gallery and I want to see only the first three ones, what have I to do?
[GALLERY FROM="1" NUM="3"] has no effect
And how can I manage two or more galleries inside the same post?

You can't have more than 1 native gallery in a post. Understanding how the native gallery works might help you to avoid having certain images within a given gallery. If you need more flexibility, you might be better off looking for a gallery plugin.
