• Hi,

I have two blogs called A and B. When I put a new post in A , I also want this new post in the B blog.

So I wrote, in the A blog “Update services” the URL of B like this:
    http://B.blog.com/xmlrpc.php

But it does nothing on the B blog when I post a new in the A blog….

So what would be the solution to automatically updated the B blog with the A posts ?

    Anyideas ?
    Tom

  • Use a feedreading plugin to use the RSS feed. If you want it in the sidebar, CG-Feedread works great.

If you want to actually generate duplicate posts in the second blog (a bad idea if search engine results matter, by the way) try FeedWordPress.

Ok, wordpress could be nice but it’s not instant 🙁

Is there no way to use the xml rpc solution (via update service) ?

I hadn’t find a free xmlrpc server which can get the post like a rpc.pingomatic.com.

feedwordpress could do the trick but we must do polling 🙁

All the update service sends is a ping. So, even if you somehow made it post, I guess it would just post a ping, not the actual post.
