    Hello everyone-
I'm a WordPress noob, so I apologize in advance of my naivete regarding WordPress, Buddypress and PHP in general.

My question is this: Is it possible to develop a page template that uses nothing but widgets? NOTHING blog, post, etc related. The intention is I want to create a page using the standard layout (main column and smaller, right column layout) where I can list profiles for the users of a Buddypress site. At first look, the 'Members' widget seems ideal for this, but like I said, I want it as the main content, not a little widget off to the side, so that people can go to a designated page and see all profiles listed.

Is this doable? I've looked in a book or two, and have gone over many different links online and found out lots of ways to utilize the array declaration to iterate versions of the right column widget container, but so far, nothing definitive on how to use a widget as the main content of a page.

On a different note, are there any good recommendations on resources for forums in Buddypress? I'm confused on this as well- use Groups? (and if so, how?) or use bbpress? And how do you implement a forum and use it on a page correctly?

    Thanks

Ahh, the widgetize link looks at first glance to be exactly what I was after. I'll have to try it and let you know. Thanks very much!
