Anyone know if WP 2.5 can store and paste code for picture paths, since you cannot upload images any longer. Maybe there's a way to simplify hand coding for all the photos!

Actually you can upload files in 2.5. The media uploader has been moved from below the writing textarea to just above it: look for the icons that follow "add media:".
