A way to easily change the order of posts

Hi,

I’m currently working on a friend’s blog and she says that on another website that she had worked for(which was also wordpress), there was the possibility of dragging and dropping posts in the “edit posts” screen (just like you do with widgets). She wants the same thing on this blog that i’m working on right now.

So i searched for plugins that change the order of the posts but none of them seemed to work that way. I really don’t know what plugin were those guys using and there is no way to find out.

As an example of what we want to achieve: let’s say i wrote 5 posts today (news about videogames). The very first two that i wrote are the best, the most attractive, but they show up the fourth and the fifth in the blog. What i would want is that i could drag and drop them in the “edit posts” area so that they will be the first to appear on the blog (until i write a new post, of course).

I hope i’ve been clear enough. Dunno if my english is that good :). If there’s anything that you don’t understand please ask me so i can reword what is not clear. Also, i hope i posted in the right section. If not, please point me to the right direction.

P.S. She doesn’t want to manually change the date of each post.
