Is there a way to allow editors to edit other's pages?

I've tried the role manager plugin found here:
    http://www.im-web-gefunden.de/wordpress-plugins/role-manager/

But unless I'm missing something I couldn't get that to work even when "creating" a new role with specific capabilities. (It could be that I don't completely understand how that's supposed to work.)

I have also heard a lot about another role manager plugin but all of my searches heve ended in dead-ends.

So anyway, is this possible? I have a website for my Jazz Quintet, using WP as a CMS and I'd like the guys to be able to update their own bios add new dates (all on pages) etc. but want to make sure no one starts poking around with plugins, editing files etc.

    Thanks!

No one has any info on the original role-manager plugin?
