   I'm looking to set up an online store but I don't need a shopping cart. I'm not selling the products directly from the website, that's what I mean. So I guess what I'm looking for is more of a 'product gallery' with prices and descriptions.

   Is there anything out there like that for WordPress?

   It seems like any image gallery that allows descriptions to be displayed could be used for this.

   godbox you could try oscommerce, zen cart or cube cart. If you have a joomla content management system you could do virtuemart, which I would recommend for its ease of use.
