• Hello, I was wondering if somewhere there is available an archive which simply reads out the posts in chronological order – No categories, months, etc.

I know it wouldn’t be so difficult in PHP but I’m not too familiar with it.

Perhaps there’s a way I can edit the existing archive code to do this?

  • How would that differ from your index page? – where there is no categories, months etc… [just curious]

    Oh, good call.

Just the titles I mean. Sort of a list.

    Thanks/Sorry.

archive.php template file is supposed to display all kind of archive lists…
You can edit the The Loop in it to show only the titles (by deleting the_content tag) and by setting the proper parameters in the archive tag you should be able to get waht you want.

Just a note. For a beginner blogger this might seem a bright idea… but what will happen when you’ll have 527 posts? Show them all on ONE single page? Not very userfriendly. There is a reason humankind invented categorization and chronological delimiters 🙂
