    This is not the place to insist people follow webstandards.
    This is not the place for you to have a go at people.
    This is not the place to criticise when that has not been requested in the “Your WordPress” and all criticism should be constructive there anyway.
    This is not the place to post about what you might or might not do.
    This is not the place to post “Yeah, lol, someone MIGHT help, lol but I can’t SO you’ll have TO WAIT lol” just to get your post count up
    This is not the place to start wars.

    Be polite.

    People come here to ask a question and find an answer.
    They do not come here to wade through nonsense posts.

    Help.
    Help positively or do not post.

    These forums are good because they are not full of junk.
    It needs to stay that way.

    FWIW – I have asked some pretty dumb questions and have never been flamed (some were ignored but not flamed).

    I agree that this should be stickied required reading.

    Sometimes it’s very discouraging to see your request for help fall off the face of the forum while people flame each other in other posts. I often feel very bad for folks when I’m searching topics and find someone who requested something months ago and never got an answer, even the occassional “good stumper” response would let a newbie know they aren’t being ignored. Just my 2cents.

    *wanders off to lurk some more until I find another stumper to ask*
