   How do i create a redirect page for my website. When people type in the name of my website (eg http://www.blahblah.co.uk) i want it to take them to a wordpress page. But i dont want to have 20 some files in my websites "root" folder.

   Any ideas?

   best solution for that would be the 301 redirect with your .htaccess file.

   i have tried this and none of the examples i've followed seem to work. They produce a 500 Internal Server Error and tell me to contact myself.

   Thanks that's just what i was looking for! Albeit there isn't actually any .htaccess file to copy but it works!
